we were lucky to have an eruption every 20 minutes that day, but sadly we couldn’t set foot on the island as it’s on level II alert status and were advised not to go within 3km radius of the island.

hi xandre, the small volcano has been erupting quite active lately, spewing lava and such, i guess i need to make another pilgrimage before it’s the end of the world as we know it (and i feel fine) 🙂
