thanks mate! a rather peculiar fact about these eruptions is that they don’t make a sound at all!
I would love to live near an active volcano. Maybe I should move to Hawaii!
indeed, volcanoes are drop dead gorgeous! send me a postcard 🙂
What a beautiful photo.
thanks angeline!
Yikes!!!
hah!
It’s pretty impressive to have been so close. Nature is surely more powerful than anything man can make.
thanks victor. having to battle a 2.5 meter swell in selat sunda for 21/2 hours really paid off. that was quite an accomplishment for me – having this kind of experience and for not throwing up in the boat! 😀
Wow, great photo.
thanks. if only the alert level was not as critical as that particular day, we would have landed on the island itself. alas, it gave us a memorable experience indeed.
Wow, my jaw dropped when I saw the volcano in the background! What an opportunity, scary and exhilarating!! Amazing photo!
thanks cindy. we were lucky to have a semi-angry volcano on the day of our visit.
Whoah… This is extreme!!! 🙂 **
thanks. i wish i could go back on a clear weather.
