  1. Those large tree trunks intrigue me. They are very close to the water. This can’t be saltwater. Either it is not or this is some unusual kind of big tree that I don’t see near saltwater. Very interesting shot with the tree trunks featured. I like it a lot.

      • Yes, thank you. I knew I’d heard the name, Casuarina, before. When I checked Wikipedia, I was reminded of where I heard it. The Casaurina Tree” is the title of a Somerset Maugham book. The tree was used for erosion control so he uses it as a metaphor for the role of the English in Borneo and the Malay Penninsula. You’ve educated me with your lovely photographs! Thank you so very much for taking the time to do this for me!
