Whilst I don’t condone it, I can appreciate the reasons behind Amazonian and other tribal populations adorning themselves with feathers – to be as wondrous would be a joy.
Yes, he is beautiful. The Macaw really is a male, I think, since his head is flat. Sometimes, that characteristic works in identifying the males. He’s really handsome and he is suspicious of you. See his dilated pupils? Step back if he raises the feathers on that head! 🙂
