OMG! This just made my skin crawl!!!!! I hope you used a long lense, not sure I could get that close to this amazing insect!!
about 2m away at eye level, but no worries, she was busy. 🙂
ha ha she sure seemed to be 🙂 Well done!
Nature. The spider is gruesome looking.
and hopefully we will never grow tired of living with them. 🙂
Spine tingling drama!
and when i went back home a few months later she was gone! it’s a mystery (or having a short lifespan) 🙂
Yikes! Wouldn’t want to meet him in a dark alley… 😉
hah. i’m afraid she’s a bit harmless, unless if you poke her with your finger!
Holly cow! That is s HUUUUGE spider! Superbe!
haha. even the males (being a lot smaller) sometimes hide on her web, steal her food and inseminate her without her noticing the deeds. 🙂
Really? wow…
it’s based on some info that i found on the net while doing some research. 🙂 http://www.naturia.per.sg/buloh/inverts/nephila.htm
