      it was still under re-constructions (due to the earthquake) during my visit last year. the view from the site is also spectacular; on fine weathers, we can see the peak of mt. merapi, the most active stratovolcano in indonesia from the temple complex.

    • indeed 🙂 although it is best to visit during dry season for an absolutely stunning photographs. mine was in february, which is nearly the end of monsoon season. so it doesn’t really enhance the greyish architecture against the dark, gloomy sky.
