an experiment in june 2007 using an ir filter produced a painting like effect on harvested rice fields at the back of my parents’ house in ketereh, kelantan. although it gave a surreal impact, the tedious post processes required to produce it resulted in my self declaration of never going to indulge myself in something as time wasting and unreal as that image again. from then on, i kept it as natural as possible and simple minor tweaks of brightness control, sharpening and resizing were good enough for me.

just add a bit of gamma, crop to make subject(s) tighter, that’s about it.
