a huge sundial obelisk protrudes in the centre of the thematic putrajaya botanical gardens, home to more than 700 species of amazing flora. and your eyes are playing tricks on you if you “presumably” notice a lady sprawling on the hot cobble walkway since i don’t see any. purportedly taken at noon in november 2010.

a lone bornean bearded pig foraging on the beach of telok assam, bako national park, after crossing a tannin filled stream, entirely oblivious to the fast moving boat ferrying visitors back to bako village in the background. february 2011.

mount kinabalu at 4,095m, the tallest in borneo’s crocker range was partly covered by clouds as i snapped this photo from the town of kundasang, south of the mountain while facing north in july 2008. the summit, low’s peak is slightly visible in the centre of the frame.

i’d only been to the petronas towers once ages ago and since then, i manage to avoid even going to its vicinity. this pic however, was taken using a miniature model of the said towers with the cool blue fraser’s hill morning sky as a backdrop. december 2007.

in time, i grew to accept that joe the changeable lizard was quite a pleasant sight on the durian bark, a territory exclusively defended by the dorsal crested chap. this pic of moulting joe was captured in december 2007 near ketereh.
